The Best Tapas in London

Posted:August 2, 2017 at 11:14 am

They say small is beautiful and it certainly is when you stumble upon the tastiest tapas in town. When you’re in the mood for some tantalising Spanish bites, then look no further as we’ve picked a few of our favourites. Who needs a night out on the tiles when you can have a night on the tapas! Vamos!

Barrafina

Barrafina Tapas in COvent Garden

What we love most about this place is that there’s a no booking policy so all you need to do is rock up and get ready to eat. This place is always busy so you may need to wait a few minutes for your seat but that’s ok as you can enjoy a chilled drink as you do. There are a number of Barrafina’s around London but we kept things central and dined at the Covent Garden branch. Great food in an even better location.

Salvador & Amanda

Salvador & Amanda Tapas

This little gem is also located right by Covent Garden.  It’s downstairs off the street so you’d actually walk past it a few times before you see it, so keep your eyes peeled. The interior is authentic and the ambience is perfection. Salvador & Amanda’s really comes alive at night and you might even find yourself up dancing after a few sangrias!

Little Taperia

Little Taperia

This one may be off the beaten track in Tooting but boy oh boy it’s worth the trip. You feel like you’re actually in a rustic Spanish restaurant from the moment you enter this beauty. The Little Taperia’s patatas bravas are the best in town and the red wine is silky smooth. This interior is cosy and small so booking in advance is advisable.
